I've been browsing round this site on and off for the past two days and noticed that lots of guests look round the forums but not many new people register to post new threads or add to those already there. If you can relate to anything or have your own issues with the NHS - good or bad then sign up and post them. If enough people do this, someone in power may start to recognise that all is not well and do something about it.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum. Thanks for taking the time to register, and to share your thoughts.
If enough people do this, someone in power may start to recognise that all is not well and do something about it.
Do you think they don't know that "all is not well?" I suspect they know this, but don't have the power, skills, or ability to fix something that is so completely and thoroughly broken.
I found that even going through the formal NHS complaint procedure has brought me no joy. They've lost my complaints (literally) or have just treated them with contempt. I am now considering filing a small claims court action against them --- not because I want any money (I don't) but because I want someone to actually address my complaints.
If the NHS won't do so, then perhaps their solicitor will. I'm just starting to feel a little bit better, so perhaps that's given me the oomph to start to think about drafting court papers.
I share your hope that others will post their comments about the NHS here --- good and bad. I know it made me feel better just sharing my complaints with the world, via the internet, even if nobody read them.
