For the last 2 weeks I had terrible stomach pain.
I knew exactly what was wrong with me since I had that problem before.
I got an emergency appointment because I was about to go on holiday and the next appointment they could have given me was in 2 weeks as I was going on holiday.
They already prescribed me some medicine that changes the accid in my stomach but it didn't take away the pain and caused diarhoea.
I told him to give me anti biotics like they did last time which helped for a while but he said no and gave me more of the tablets that didn't help.
He said as well that if it still hurts after my holiday they will refer me to a hospital.
I knew it would still hurt after my holiday because last time I had it the pain didn't go away until after the anti biotics.
I am not saying he is a bad doctor but his behaviour was careless.
On my holiday which as in the country I was born at I went to my doctor, I told him the story and he gave me the anti biotics I need straight away!
He said there is no need to wait for a test because I would already be healthy by the time it is finished.
It only took 1 and a half hours waiting time not weeks as it does with the NHS.
In vienna you pay dor your insurance, it isn't much but it helps a lot as there are no waiting times when you need to see a doctor. Of course I had problems with the insurance before so I am not saying it is the best but it is much better than the NHS.
Contraception needs to be paid for in this country though.
Thanks to my doctor I feel much better and can finally enjoy my holiday :)
